What to do when challenges are part of everyday life, plans don’t work out or new paths are needed? Resilience doesn’t mean being unshakable. It means dealing with change and setbacks, learning from them and moving forward stronger.

At the "Summit Conversations 2026", we focus on exactly this topic and bring together two very different perspectives: Daniela Niederstätter talks about the opportunities and challenges women face between career, family and men. Mountaineer Thomas Huber speaks about failure – and why it is precisely in failure that the opportunity lies to grow and find new paths.

Martin Moser from GLOBO ALPIN will open the evening with a welcome speech. This will be followed by the two keynote speeches from the protagonists, after which Magdalena Messner will lead the joint panel discussion and connect the different experiences and perspectives of our two guests.

An evening about courage, challenges, personal strength and the question of what helps us to get back on our feet after a setback. The Summit Conversations 2026 is a joint event by GLOBO ALPIN Bergreisen and the Messner Mountain Museum.

For our event guests who have a longer journey and would like to spend the day in and around Bolzano beforehand, we offer the opportunity to spend the time until the start of the event individually: As part of the event, we invite you from 11:00 a.m. to an exclusive company tour of the Salewa Headquarter in Bolzano. From 04:00 p.m., Sigmundskron Castle will open its doors for an exclusive museum visit. Participation in one or both offers is free of charge for all event participants.
