The Urban Accordion Orchestra Leipzig (UAO) is embarking on a concert tour to South Tyrol this summer. The young orchestra from Leipzig brings together up to 80 musicians and stands for a new generation of modern accordion music – supported by bass, keyboard, drums, percussion, and vocals.
The repertoire ranges from pop and rock classics to hits from the 80s and 90s, as well as current chart-toppers. Classical accordion pieces are also part of the programme – fitting for the accordion as Instrument of the Year 2026!
The UAO aims to present its music internationally with this trip to South Tyrol and promote cultural exchange. Therefore, alongside a variety of musical pieces, the versatile programme includes not only German but also Italian titles.
