From the initial idea right through to the smooth execution of your event, our event planner will support you with a keen eye for detail.
After the museum closes at 6:00 pm, Sigmundskron Castle opens its doors exclusively to you. The inner courtyards, rock theatre, cinema, garden terraces and the Knights’ Hall with projection and sound equipment are all available for your exclusive use. Our in-house restaurant handles the catering, and paid parking is available on site.
Great Hall | 120 SQM | up to 140 people
The hall provides space for a wide range of needs, such as presentations, meetings, weddings, small and large events. Equipped with modern technology (two projectors, two screens and a sound system), it is ideal for any team event to help you achieve your plans and ideas.
"Speckkeller" | 115 sqm | up to 80 people
Inside the castle, protected by thick walls, lies the so-called "Speckkeller", the Speck Cellar. A room steeped in history, marked by cool tranquillity and the knowledge of long-standing culinary traditions. Here, the space and experience blend subtly. The room is ideal for gatherings – family celebrations, Törggele evenings or special meetings. Locally inspired dishes, a simply set table and the quiet presence of the historic walls create a setting that doesn’t need staging, it simply supports.
"Stübele" | 38 sqm | up to 20 people
A place of tranquillity and retreat. Spaces where time feels different. The “Stübelen” are kept simple and exude a quiet warmth. They invite you to pause, gain some distance and focus on what really matters. The atmosphere does not come from staging, but from the interplay of space, materials and history. Whether used individually or as a whole: the rooms provide a clear framework for shared occasions such as team events or private celebrations – discreet, focused and appropriate to the setting.
Rock Theatre | 95 sqm | up to 100 people + lawn
The Rock Theatre blends space, art and history. Music and singing fill the air, actors* bring stories to life and open up perspectives on new worlds. The surrounding walls carry the history of the castle within them and form a clear, powerful backdrop for every event. Here, people come together – to listen, to marvel or to share a special moment. Whether it’s a conference, award ceremony or live event, the Rock Theatre adapts to the occasion and the size of the group without losing its serene presence and connection to the location.
Cinema | 32 sqm (40 sqm including foyer) | up to 40 people
Our cinema combines space, technology and views into a cohesive whole. It provides the infrastructure for presentations, conferences or live broadcasts without overpowering the atmosphere. The screen, usually the focal point, can be retracted to reveal the surrounding landscape. This transforms the cinema into a space where people can experience films while also appreciating the tranquillity and vastness of nature. Here, technology merges with the surroundings, giving every event a clear, distinctive presence.
Cave | 70 sqm (20 sqm inside / 50 sqm outside) | up to 40 people
The cave in the castle opens up a place unlike any other. Here, silence and darkness converge, the air is cool, tinged with a faint hint of moisture. This space holds history, legends, and a quiet mystery. Underground worlds have always held a special allure – they invite you to leave the familiar behind, to immerse yourself and discover new perspectives. Whether for presentations, events, or unusual gatherings: the cave creates a setting that offers both space for imagination and a space for focused experience.
Arena | 1.600 sqm | several hundred people
The arena at Sigmundskron Castle combines space, history and encounters. This inner courtyard is more than just a venue – it provides a setting for moments that will be remembered. The gently sloping grass area creates a natural grandstand and allows views of the action from every angle. Concerts, theatrical performances, festivals or cultural gatherings unfold here, nestled within the historic architecture. The arena thus becomes a place of community, where people come together to share experiences and feel the presence of the location.
